Kleinkinderturnen
Zielgruppe für das Kleinkinderturnen im Verein sind Kinder (Jungen und Mädchen) im Alter von 4-6 Jahren.
Dabei erobern die Kinder erstmals ohne Eltern die Turnhallen. Mit der sich schnell erweiternden Sprach- und Sprechfähigkeit beginnt in der Auseinandersetzung mit den Umgebungs- und Umweltbedingungen der erste Abschnitt für die Entwicklung der "begrifflichen Intelligenz". Kinder beginnen zu verstehen und lösen durch Denken, zunächst einfache und später immer schwierigere Bewegungsaufgaben. Die vielfältigen und abwechslungsreichen Angebote lassen die Turnstunden zu einer neuen Erlebniswelt werden. War das Festhalten am Barrenholm die erste Begegnung mit einem Turngerät, so wird der Barren jetzt in eine Hängebrücke umfunktioniert. Bewegungsgeschichten und Bewegungslandschaften erzeugen eine hohe Attraktivität. Durch aktives Handeln, kreativen und phantasievollen Umgang mit ihrer Umwelt lernen die Kinder, die vorhandenen Fertigkeiten ihrer Alltagsmotorik zu verbessern sowie ihr Bewegungsrepertoire zu erweitern. Die Bewegungsangebote zur Schulung der Wahrnehmung nehmen eine wichtige Rolle in der Bewegungswelt der Kinder in diesem Alter ein. Das Kleinkinderturnen sollte für die Kinder eine normfreie Bewegungswelt darstellen, geprägt von Offenheit, Vielseitigkeit, Freiwilligkeit und einem hohen Grad an Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten.
