Eltern-Kind-Turnen
Zielgruppe des Eltern-Kind-Turnens sind alle Kinder von ca. 1 - 4 Jahren. Die Kinder werden von Mutter und/ oder Vater zum Turnen begleitet.
Die Kinder lernen gemeinsam mit ihren Eltern und anderen Familien die Vielfalt des Kinderturnens kennen. Hierbei steht das Sammeln vielseitiger Bewegungserfahrung mit und ohne Materialien und Geräten im Vordergrund - vom Fingerspiel zum Bewegungslied, vom kleinen Spiel mit Alltagsmaterialien bis hin zum Kennenlernen von Bewegungslandschaften, Spielen für zu Hause und den Spielplatz. Darüber hinaus sollen erste Anregungen für die überfachliche Arbeit (z.B. Basteln, Kinderfasching, Kinderfeste) gegeben werden. Mit Hilfe der Eltern bzw. Übungsleiter/innen erleben die Kinder durch Nachahmen und eigenständiges Probieren die Welt des Kinderturnens.
Kinderturnen
Zielgruppe im Kinderturnen sind Mädchen und Jungen ab 6 Jahre.
Mit dem Eintritt in die Schule beginnt für alle Kinder ein neuer Lebensabschnitt. Die Grundtätigkeiten der Alltagsmotorik (Laufen, Springen, Hüpfen, Kriechen, usw.) sollten in diesem Alter vollkommen beherrscht werden. Die Lernfähigkeit nimmt rasch zu und ist aufgrund des bereits erlernten schulischen Wissens, der sprachlichen Kompetenz, der Bewegungserfahrung und der Motivation besonders gut ausgeprägt, so dass Kinder sportliche Bewegungen im Idealfall auf Anhieb lernen können.
Ausgehend von diesen Grundvoraussetzungen werden die Angebote im Kinderturnen breit und vielseitig angelegt. Neben der Weiterentwicklung sportmotorischer Fähigkeiten (konditionelle und koordinative Fähigkeiten) sowie der Wahrnehmung steht im sogenannten "Motorischen Lernalter" die Aneignung sportmotorischer Fertigkeiten im Vordergrund.
Das Turnen an und mit Geräten wird erlebnisorientiert beispielsweise über Bewegungs- und Übungslandschaften vermittelt. So lernen Kinder Bewegungen zu verfeinern und zu variieren.
Mit dem Übergang vom Nachahmungslernen zum "verstehenden", einsichtigen Lernprozess beginnt nun die Möglichkeit der sportartspezifischen Vermittlung von Bewegung.
Mit dem Erwerb der motorischen Grundlagenausbildung öffnet sich die Tür zur Welt des Sports mit seinem riesigen Angebot vom Leistungs-, Breiten- und Freizeitsport bis hin zum Gesundheitssport.
